9/6/16 Welcome back! My 7th grade class is during core 1. We begin the semester with reviewing lab safety, identifying and defining "science", as well as a review of data collection.
9/12/16 This week we delve into the world of engineering. We will be working throughout the week to construct a paper tower with some constraints. This tower must be at least 1 meter tall, use 20 sheets of paper, while only using 1 meter of tape. This paper tower must be able to withstand a fan turned on high speed. Students will use the week to create prototypes, redesign and optimize those prototypes through test trials, and lastly create their final design.
