2024-2025 Board Goals

Goal 1 – Increase Board Committee Effectiveness:

The BRSD BOE strives to increase the effectiveness of its committee structure. To this end the Board will ensure written committee reports will be made available to all board members no less than 3 business days prior to the next scheduled board meeting. These committee reports will be completed on a standardized BOE committee form.

Evidence of full achievement: 100% on time compliance. Evidence of partial achievement: 75% - 99% on time compliance. Evidence of failure to achieve: Less than or equal to 74%. Chairs of each committee are responsible for updating the shared google spreadsheet with the link to the committee report.

Goal 2 - A Schedule for Adopting Future BOE Goals:

The Board will conduct a self-assessment in conjunction with NJSBA by July 1, 2025; the Board will draft and approve BOE goals by the first meeting in September 2025.
