Physical Education Updates

October News

We are off to a great start in Physical Education class!   The students learned all the procedures in the gym, personal space, pathways, and loco motor skills. They played games, used hula-hoops and traveled through an obstacle course working on the skills learned.   We will continue to reinforce the skills learned and build on them throughout the school year. The third grade students are participating in fitness testing.

In October we will teach soccer skills. The students in first through third grade will play soccer bowl and sideline soccer.   We are getting ready for our annual Autumn stations in the gym and hope the kids enjoy playing while working on the skills taught at each station.
