Math

October has been a busy month in Math as we learned all about area, volume, and solving for many different prisms.

 

For November, we will be working on Unit 2 expectations: unit conversions, multiplication strategies, and long division. This unit is more "comfortable" to the class and they are excited to show off their number skills!

 

**Rocketmath** Each day before we begin math lessons, the students complete a multiplication sheet which we refer to as Rocketmath. It is essentially a minute math program, helping students to build math fluency and memorization of math facts. The students have an opportunity to move up levels and challenge themselves.
